Hair Restoration with Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF)
As an advanced form of PRP (platelet rich plasma), Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) is used for hair regeneration and restoration and for treating reverse hair loss. It is simply the extraction of platelets from the patient’s own blood, which is then injected back into the patient.
Unlike the other platelet concentrates, PRF involves only the centrifugation of natural blood without any additives. Our blood contains red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and plasma. When the blood is centrifuged, it will produce PRF.
